Trefor Thomas
Trefor Thomas leads Brand Advocate UK’s international creative domain. Trefor is one of the UK’s most awarded creative talents, having received over 40 national and international awards, including six Cannes Lions. He’s also a frequent award show judge and has twice judged The Cannes Advertising Festival and the D&AD Awards. He has worked throughout Asia, Australia and EMEA on some of the world’s biggest and best brands and for some of the world’s most creative advertising agencies.
Paul English
Paul English is the agency’s strategic partner and a true digital native. Paul’s background is in international account direction and agency operations and he has spent the last 15 years building and rebuilding digital departments for leading agencies all over the world. Before Brand Advocate, he was the founding director of Sapient Interactive where he brought the agency to prominence as the UK’s No. 1 digital agency (NMA). Prior to that he spent many years at Ogilvy, in the US and Europe, most recently as Executive Director of OgilvyInteractive Paris.
Byron Garside
Byron has over 13 years of international experience in strategic and operational roles. Having previously worked in New York as finance director on JWT’s global clients, he returned to the UK as finance director and global board member of RMG connect. Here he built the company from its initial five EMEA markets into a 20-market global network, at the same time working as finance director on a major WPP client across 10 agency networks in 20 markets.
Gregor McQuattie
Almost as passionate about communication as he is about golf, Gregor has spent his career building meaningful relationships between some of the world’s leading agencies and their biggest clients. Some of these include DDB London, JWT and TBWA/, and clients such as UNICEF, Prudential, B&Q, Vodafone, Shell and Philips.
Robin England
Robin has been bandying words like "bandying" around in the advertising industry for close to 20 years. In that time, he's produced award-winning work for some of London's leading agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis, and has still managed to keep his sense of humour about it all. He's responsible for writing some and overseeing all of the agency’s written output.
Simon Fraser
With 16 years’ experience in digital production and project management, Simon has delivered award-winning campaigns across every digital platform, from global websites and extranets to integrated advertising campaigns. These have spanned traditional, social and mobile media and have encompassed a diverse range of clients and industries.
Jocelyn Deborne
A truly digital mind, Jocelyn is passionate about making innovative ideas happen across all kinds of digital media. After moving to the UK from France in 1998, he gained a master’s in Technology Management, before working on social, integrated and digital projects in a variety of agencies.
Keeley Ashdown
Keeley’s love of all things creative allows her to bring an energy and enthusiasm to the original concepts she creates. She has spent the last four and a half years coming up with inventive ideas, both full time and freelance, for a range of brands, across all kinds of media.
Laura Zukauskaite
Bright and bubbly, Laura adds a healthy dose of Lithuanian enthusiasm and energy to the agency. With 10 years’ experience as a digital producer for major international brands, her meticulous attention to detail and diligence means that every project she works on is delivered on time and correctly.
Andreas Pavel
Fluent in just about every European language he can get his hands on, Andreas has spent the last 10 years based in London at a variety of agencies, including Publicis. His vast experience of delivering integrated campaigns for global IT clients throughout EMEA is second to none.
Kate Drury
A true Yorkshire lass with a no-nonsense, down-to-earth attitude, Kate received her education at Oxford University where she studied Spanish and French. After a brief dalliance with teaching in Chile, she quickly found her niche in marketing. She comes to Brand Advocate via Publicis, where she spent over five years working on the HP and Asda accounts.
Katie Green
Need some copy written in a variety of different styles? That's where Katie comes in, with her ability to craft relevant copy and produce insightful concepts. Passionate about writing and literature, and having enjoyed a mixed background in the worlds of journalism and PR, she’s found her niche in marketing.
Charlotte Padfield
Brimming with enthusiasm, Charlotte is responsible for making sure daily life at Brand Advocate runs smoothly. With a wealth of skills from a background in a variety of different industries, she divides her time between office management and helping Paul and Trefor.
Augusta Chalcroft
Augusta is a born-and-bred Londoner whose career in accounting has taken her all round the world. Working with various companies in the fields of sports, television, talent and media, her speciality has been helping start-up companies develop and flourish. A mother of two, she knows a thing or two about keeping a level head under pressure and adaptability.
Camille George
Camille brings her love of art, photography and design to a range of projects for all of our clients. She joined Brand Advocate after spending two and half years living in Paris and working on creative projects for luxury brands. In her spare time she writes her own design blog.
Ardel Amani
Ardel joined Brand Advocate after graduating with a degree in Advertising and Business Studies. Enthusiastic and on the ball, he quickly became – and remains – involved in all the key aspects of our client engagements. This ranges from the integration of social campaigns, to monitoring consumer trends and attitudes and providing project support.
Gavin Howell
Gavin’s creative evolution has taken him from publishing and magazine design, through to animation, concept design for advertising, and digital design for mobile apps and the web. He has spent more than 10 years honing his skills working across a variety of different brands, titles and personal projects.
Giles Rollestone
Giles has spent over 18 years accumulating valuable knowledge in all aspects of user experience and beyond – from information architecture and interaction design, to conceptual design and Internet consulting. He has worked for numerous London-based digital consultancies. Giles has also spent a significant part of his career in the academic world – both conducting research and as a tutor at the RCA, and through his PhD in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
Jessica Wantman
Jessica is the agency’s ears. A devout lover of social media, she listens to everything that is being said about our brands and their competitors out there in the digital world and then translates it all into meaningful trends, insights and strategic recommendations. Over her career in marketing, Jessica has worked at such agencies as Saatchi & Saatchi and Anomaly, and on such brands as Honda, Carlsberg Tetley, Toyota, Lexus, General Millls, Procter & Gamble and Sony.
